A cutting edge look into a new way of collecting art.
Masked was an original smart contract created in collaboration with Async Art and BIG COMIC ART.
Every layer of the original painting, was divided and owned into separate smart contracts.
Each individual layer/smart contract was accessible by the owner, where each owner could change color parameters, where as the main image could change based own each owner.
Over the image, is a mask that was linked to John Hopkins university data on Covid-19 statistics.
The masked would appear, disappear and reappear according to covid-19 statistics.
The mask has now almost completely disappeared, and this work is dedicated in remembrance to the possibilities of the first work of art.
